Detectives investigating the death of Angela Shellis are keen to speak with the individuals pictured in these CCTV images. Angela’s body was found in the Morfa area of Prestatyn on Friday, 24 October. Following his arrest later that day, 18-year-old Tristan Thomas Roberts, Angela's son, has been charged with her murder. Detective Chief Inspector Andy Gibson said: “As this murder investigation continues, we are keen to identify the following persons captured on CCTV images. “We need to identify those people who were in the Morfa area during the times between 03:30 hours and 05:40 hours on Friday 24th October, as they could be key witnesses. “It is clear that the area is popular for dog walkers and people exercising, and it is necessary for us to identify all persons in the area. “I would like to thank those who have already come forward. If you know, or are, the persons within the contained images, please contact 101 and quote reference C165084. “You may feel you have nothing of value to add the investigation, but it is crucial we identify the people captured on CCTV cameras nearby. “I would like to reassure the local communities that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation and this is strictly an appeal for witnesses. *We acknowledge the low quality of the images, which may make recognition difficult; however, if you recognise the person, or believe it could be you, please get in touch with us." Tributes have been paid to the popular mum after her tragic death and a Gofundme started to help towards funeral costs. Angela's sister Sarah Gunther said: "As a family we are heartbroken that Angela passed away so tragically on Friday 24th October. "She was only 45 years old and such a lovely, happy person and loved by anyone who met her. "She had a heart full of love and kindness, always put others before herself. Losing her so suddenly has left our family devastated and struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable loss. "We are now trying to give her the funeral and memorial she deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and mean the world to us. "Any remaining money we would like to donate to a charity for mental health and autism. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who may want to support. "Thank you from the bottom of hearts for your kindness, love and prayers during this difficult time. We will forever cherish Angela's memory and keep her spirit alive in everything we do. With love and thanks, Sarah and family." Headteacher Philip Collins paid tribute to the Rhyl High School teaching assistant. In a letter sent to parents over the half term, he said: "It is with a sense of deep shock and sadness that I write to you having learnt of the death of our staff member Angela Shellis. Angela was a valued member of staff, who joined the Rhyl High team in 2023 and was a caring and committed teaching assistant. "We are deeply upset as a school community and hold Angela's family and friends foremost in our thoughts, as they try to come to terms with their loss."
