Munnings Freed, Explains Tax Trouble Outside Court

Andrew Munnings is a free man tonight. The well-known funeral service owner walked out of custody late this evening looking noticeably different from when he was taken to prison just last night. His head? Completely shaved. We caught up with him outside the Magistrates Court on Coney Drive, and he shared his thoughts on the entire ordeal.

Andrew Munnings, Businessman

“We currently have not a civil matter that we will be bringing, but I think for right now, it’s not about me really. I must take this opportunity to thank the public itself, because a lot of people always are asking, but why everybody di rally for Andrew Munnings? Why not everybody else? And it is really how I treat people. It is how I run my business. It is how I see people. I treat people fair. It is the foundation of what I have always been saying since I have been coming to court from 2023, I cannot pull something from the air that I don’t have. If it is that I could have paid off every single thing that the tax service is saying that I owe them. I would’ve done that because one night away from my daughter felt like a lifetime. But what comes from here and everything, we continue to fight. Like I said, the tax service is still holding this as a matter.”
