A massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Mumbai's Jogeshwari on Thursday (October 23) morning, leaving several people stranded on the top floor of the building. The fire erupted at the JMS Business Centre, located on SV Road, Behrampada in Jogeshwari West, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB). Moreover, it was declared a Level-II fire call. Video The MFB, along with the police, 108 Ambulance services, Public Works Department (PWD), BMC ward staff, and personnel from the relevant electricity distribution company, were deployed to the site immediately. The operations to contain the fire are underway, while the cause of the fire is unknown yet. According to the reports, several people are stranded on the top floor of the building, while no injuries have been reported. More details awaited.
