Much-loved café in Cambridgeshire city up for sale two years after opening

A café in Ely is up for sale, two years after it first opened. Tamarin Bay Coffee House on Fore Hill has proved popular since opening in 2023.

It has an average rating of 4.6/5 from Google reviews, with customers lauding the business as provider of “the best flat white I’ve ever had” and “the best mocha I’ve ever tasted”. Tamarin Bay Coffee House also serves breakfasts and lunches, with a new menu launched earlier this month including French toast with raspberries and pistachios, and a ‘fig caprese sourdough’.

The business is listed by Cogogo, on offer for £64,995. The listing explains the reason for the sale: “The owners are now looking to sell due to personal commitments and a desire to be closer to home with their young family.”

Cogogo also describes a “fresh, modern and welcoming” interior, and an “existing loyal customer base”. Tables, chairs and cafe equipment are all included in the sale.
