The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has announced the results of the Primary and Secondary Teacher Selection Examination 2024. Candidates who participated in the exam can now check their results on the official MPESB website, esb.mp.gov.in. To view their results, students will need to enter their registration number and date of birth.
The Madhya Pradesh Teacher Selection Examination was organised by the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board and concluded on April 29, 2024, with approximately 1.60 lakh candidates taking part. The examination aimed to recruit primary and secondary level teachers, including positions for teachers specialising in singing, playing instruments, dancing, and other subjects.
MPESB released separate timetables for each subject to ensure candidates had sufficient time to prepare. The examination was conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9 am to 11 am and the second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. During this period, candidates showcased their abilities and skills.
MP Teacher Result 2025: How To Check?
Step 1 – To check your result, first visit the official website of MPESB, esb.mp.gov.in.
Step 2 – On the homepage, locate the link for MP Teacher Result 2024 or Teacher Selection Exam Result and click on it.
Step 3 – On the new page, enter your registration number and date of birth.
Step 4 – After providing the correct information, click on the Submit button.
Step 5 – Your result will appear on the screen. Download it and keep a printout for future reference.

Selected candidates must start preparing for the next stages, such as document verification and interviews (if applicable). MPESB will provide further information on this soon.
As of 2025, Madhya Pradesh has an estimated 6,39,525 teachers in government schools across primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels. A report submitted to the Union Education Ministry indicates that there are over 50,000 vacant teaching posts in the state, with 47,122 of these vacancies in primary schools. The state also has 12,210 schools staffed by only one teacher. An excess of 28,815 teachers in urban areas is worsening the teacher shortage in rural regions. Madhya Pradesh ranks second in the country by the number of schools, with 1,23,412 schools serving 15.36 million students and employing 6,39,525 teachers.
