By Benjamin Nii Nai Anyetei Movenpick Hotels & Resorts has launched the 10th edition of its global charity initiative, Kilo of Kindness, marking a decade of generosity that has positively transformed lives across communities worldwide. Running from October 13 to November 14, 2025, the campaign unites more than 70 Movenpick hotels and resorts across nearly 30 countries, inviting guests, employees and neighbours to donate food, clothing, educational materials, and other essentials to local charity partners. Since its launch in 2015, Kilo of Kindness has collected over 100,000 kilograms of donations, supported hundreds of NGOs, and reached countless individuals in need. The initiative began with a simple idea that one kilo can make a difference and has since grown into a global movement demonstrating that kindness transcends boundaries. “Ten years of Kilo of Kindness is a celebration of what can be achieved when generosity becomes a shared purpose,” said Benoit Racle, Global Brand President, Premium, Accor. “At Movenpick, kindness is more than a gesture it’s who we are. This milestone reflects not only the kilos donated but the communities uplifted and the lives touched.” To commemorate the 10th anniversary, Movenpick is sharing ten powerful stories from its hotels around the world showcasing how the campaign has provided children with school materials, supported vulnerable families, and supplied food and clothing to those in need. This year’s campaign coincides with World Kindness Week, reinforcing Mövenpick’s commitment to making positive social impact through authentic human connections and meaningful acts of generosity.
