Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Mecosta County crash

MECOSTA COUNTY, MI – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Tuesday, Oct. 21, in a single-vehicle crash, sheriff’s deputies said. The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at Eisenhower Road and 220th Avenue in Morley, Mecosta County sheriff’s deputies said. The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old Morley man, left the scene but was found by deputies. He was taken to Corewell Health Big Rapids Hospital then transferred to Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by Morley Area Fire and Rescue, Mecosta Township Fire Department and Mecosta County EMS.
