Moroccan Envoy hails King Mohammed VI’s vision on Sahara

Morocco’s Ambassador to Malawi, Abdulkader Naji, has praised the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, describing his vision for the Sahara as a model of realism, stability, and sustainable development that continues to inspire global consensus. Naji said the recent UN Security Council resolution reflects the world’s growing recognition of the King’s bold and strategic approach, which has transformed a complex regional issue into a foundation for lasting peace. “His Majesty’s far-sighted and unwavering vision has placed the Sahara issue within a framework of law, development, and international consensus,” said Naji. He noted that the autonomy plan, advanced by Morocco under the King’s leadership, now lies at the heart of international consensus as the only serious and credible basis for a definitive political solution. Naji added that the royal diplomacy marked by patience, consistency, and composure has anticipated global geopolitical shifts and demonstrated that realism and historical legitimacy prevail over rigid positions. Under King Mohammed VI’s guidance, the Moroccan Sahara has become a hub of integrated development, with major investments in infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, fishing, education, and health transforming it into a model of modernity and progress. “The Sahara today stands as a showcase of Morocco’s commitment to human development and economic empowerment,” said Naji, adding that the King’s approach combines boldness in decision-making with patience in execution ensuring a vision that unites and endures. #MBCDigital
