BC Welfare Minister S. Savitha said that the government would be setting up more BC Welare Gurukul Schools in Andhra Pradesh. The NDA government has given top priority to the education of the backward classes, she added.
Participating as chief guest in the Maharshi Valmiki birth anniversary celebrations in Kurnool on Tuesday along with Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath, Ms. Savitha said that it was decided that education loans at 25 paise would be provided to BC students as the government prioritises education of the backward classes.
