Momentum grows on Day Two of Northern Business Fair in Tamale

The Northern Business Fair 2025 has entered its second day at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, drawing enthusiastic participation from exhibitors, entrepreneurs, and business enthusiasts across the northern sector. The fair, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, continues to celebrate Made-in-Ghana excellence by showcasing innovations and products from small and medium enterprises, start-ups, research institutions, and local brands from the Savannah, Northern, North East, Upper East, and Upper West Regions. Speaking at the event, Joana Abombisa, Senior Export Development Officer at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), described the collaboration with Channel One TV and Citi FM as a “valuable platform” for promoting locally made products to a wider audience. She revealed that GEPA sponsored about twenty exhibitors to participate in the fair’s maiden edition. Bukari Mohammed, Regional Manager of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), commended the initiative, calling it a “rare opportunity” for local businesses to gain exposure and expand their market reach. He praised Channel One TV and Citi FM for their track record of impactful programmes and reaffirmed GEA’s commitment to sustaining the partnership. “The fair has provided businesses in Northern Ghana with a unique platform to showcase their products and services to a national audience,” he noted. Issifu Adam, Branch Manager of Ecobank Tamale, also lauded the organisers for creating an engaging space where the bank could connect directly with clients, promote its products, and strengthen customer relationships. The Northern Business Fair 2025 is powered by Channel One TV and Citi FM, and sponsored by Ecobank, Syde Hassle, GEA, and GEPA, with support from Kacstone Records. The fair continues through the weekend with exhibitions, business dialogues, and networking sessions aimed at empowering northern entrepreneurs and promoting innovation.
