Molari, Sheriff's Office team up for Lone Worker Safety Training session

PITTSFIELD — Molari Employment and Healthcare Services, in collaboration with the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, will conduct a Lone Worker Safety Training session Nov. 13 at the Berkshire Innovation Center, 45 Woodlawn Ave. The training, which will run from 1 to 3 p.m., is designed to equip individuals who work independently — such as home health care caregivers, field service workers and social workers — with the critical tools and knowledge to stay safe on the job. Participants will learn how to identify and respond to escalating behaviors, potential violence, threatening or dangerous language, and high-risk environments involving weapons, illegal drugs, aggressive animals or individuals in crisis. The training also will include hands-on instruction in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies, with a focus on effective body language, tone of voice and word choice and situational awareness. The session will also include Narcan training and scam awareness. Limited seating is available. Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP by Thursday at molarihc@molariinc.com.
