On his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhainsola village in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. He will lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park. This marks an important step toward improving the state’s textile industry.
This project is part of seven textile hubs planned across the country under the PM MITRA scheme.
PM Modi launch women health drive
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also launch two national initiatives: ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month). These initiatives aim to strengthen the country’s health and nutrition services, especially for women, children, and adolescents.
Over 1 lakh camps schedule from 17 September to 2 October
More than one lakh health camps will take place across the country from September 17 to October 2. This will be India’s largest health outreach campaign ever. The camps will offer women-focused preventive, promotive, and curative health services. These include screenings for non-communicable diseases, such as anemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease. They will also provide check-ups for mothers and adolescents, immunizations, and nutrition counseling.
Specialized services in gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, psychiatry, and more will be available through public and private medical institutions. Blood donation drives will be held nationwide. Donors will register through the e-Raktkosh portal and engage via the MyGov platform.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend the Modi’s visit.
