The University of Missouri took gold in the Tiger Style Invite on Sunday. Mizzou finished the day with 146.5 points, and four of its athletes took the top step in their weight class. This was the first time the tournament had been held in Columbia, with the previous three taking place in Kansas City. Junior Zeke Seltzer was the first MU athlete to win their division, going undefeated on his was to the 141-pound crown. In the following class, senior Josh Edmond claimed gold at 149, finishing a perfect 5-0, the most victories by any Mizzou athlete on the day. 165 was the Tigers' most successful division of the invite, getting four wrestlers in the top six, including senior Max Mayfield, who won the class, and true freshman Danny Heiser, who picked up a bronze. The final champion for Mizzou was Aeoden Sinclair, who ended all his matches before the final period. This makes the fourth consecutive team title Mizzou has won at the Tiger Style Invite. Oklahoma finished second with 122.5 points, South Dakota State was third, scoring 116.5. Purdue and Little Rock rounded out the final spots, with 99 and 30 points, respectively.
