Mizzou gains pledge from four-star running back

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou Football has scored four commits in the last nine days.
On Saturday, head coach Eli Drinkwitz and his staff secured a commitment from running back Terry “TJ” Hodges, representing the 14th member of MU’s 2026 recruiting class.
The Natural State native chose the Tigers over Arkansas, Oregon, Baylor, Louisville and Oklahoma State.
According to 247 Sports, Hodges is a four-star prospect, considered the third-best recruit from the state of Arkansas and the 15th-best running back in the nation.
The 6-foot, 180-pound talent logged 1,796 rushing yards (11.4 yards per carry) and 24 touchdowns over eight games at Marked Tree High School in his junior campaign. Although he was recruited to play running back at the collegiate level, Hodges also competes on the defensive side of the ball in high school, registering 40 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and two tackles for loss last season. He recently transferred to Bryant High School for his senior year.
MU’s latest recruiting class features two four-star prospects and a dozen three-star talents, making up the No. 58-ranked group in the country.
