Just days before the opening game of the Ashes, Mitchell Starc travelled to India to support his wife, Alyssa Healy in the 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 semi-final against India at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Thursday (October 30). For those unversed, Healy is the captain of the Australian team, who has had an unbeaten campaign so far. Despite missing the last two league stage games, the wicket-keeper has been the star of the tournament with two centuries, including one against India during the Southern Stars' three-wicket victory with a stunning knock of 141. She scored a ton against Bangladesh. Currently, she is the fourth-highest run-getter in the tournament with 299 runs in five innings. Although Healy had a poor outing with the bat on her return to the playing XI as despite Harmanpreet Kaur dropping her catch, she was dismissed for five runs by Kranti Gourd.
