Missouri QB Beau Pribula Carted Off Field With Concerning Injury

The Missouri Tigers may have endured a devastating injury to quarterback Beau Pribula during Saturday’s massive game against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Pribula’s day came to an end in the third quarter, when he was carted off the field. Pribula suffered the injury during a goal-line rushing attempt on a fourth-and-goal play. The Commodores’ defense tackled Pribula, and he bent back awkwardly with his legs pinned underneath a pile of players. However, Pribula stayed down on the field, clearly in pain after getting bent backward. The Missouri quarterback received an air cast on his leg before getting loaded onto a cart to leave the game. An update on his condition was not immediately available. With Pribula taken out of the game, Tigers backup quarterback Matt Zollers took over. Before leaving, Pribula was 9-of-14 for 68 yards passing, and also ran for 10 yards on four carries. An ESPN video surfaced showing the quarterback’s tough injury in the third quarter, before they transported him off the field on a cart. Pribula then got into a wheelchair to be transported back to the locker room for further evaluation.
