A Mississippi State University college student was arrested after he accosted Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy with a flurry of antisemitic expletives on Friday. Portnoy, a Jewish man and a staunch defender of Israel, was filming a video his review for a pizza shop near MSU's campus, when 20-year-old Patrick McClintock allegedly yelled at Portnoy “Hey, f*** the Jews, f*** you, Dave." Portnoy, who is the center of the shot, looked down at the ground as it sounded as though McClintock threw coins at his feet. "Why don’t you come in the camera, buddy?” Portnoy said. The camera then turns to show McClintock walking towards Portnoy. He is then shoved away by one of Portnoy's bodyguards. "That was awful," a woman off camera can be heard saying. McClintock continued to scream expletives at Portnoy, shoving his middle finger in the air. The 20-year-old, a junior mechanical engineering major at MSU, voluntary withdrew his enrollment from the school. Portnoy joined "CBS Sunday Morning" where he discussed that he's been experiencing antisemitism on a daily occurrence. The interview, which is set to air on November 16, was taped before Portnoy altercation with the MSU student. "It's every day now. Like, there's a definitive shift in what's going on," Portnoy told Tony Dokoupil in an interview that will air next Sunday. Portnoy has been prominently outspoken against the anti-Israel protests which have taken over college campuses since the outbreak of the Gaza War. He previously said that he would not hire any college student that has participated in anti-Israel protests. "For me, being a Jewish person, like, you got to step up," Portnoy said. "You're kind of someone people look up to in the Jewish community. You have to be, like, 'All right, this is not normal ha-ha with the guys. People are coming up with real hate.'"
