The stunning 45-year-old actress, best known for her role as Lyla Garrity on NBC’s small-town football drama Friday Night Lights, is celebrating the upcoming release of her Netflix romantic comedy Champagne Problems in style. The actress dazzled in a white floor-length sheer dress with boyfriend, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, by her side. Fans can’t get enough of Kelly’s gorgeous look, but her “happy glow” isn’t going unnoticed either. In a post shared to social media on Thursday, Kelly captioned a series of photos, “Date night celebrating #ChampagneProblems🥂” In the photos, Kelly looks effortlessly beautiful (when does she not?) with her hair pulled back and wearing simple makeup. We love this for you sm.” Minka Kelly: From Friday Night Lights to Champagne Problems Kelly may have risen to fame on Friday Night Lights, but the gorgeous actress was well prepared for the highs and lows of a career in Hollywood, having worked as a scrub nurse in a hospital prior to striking gold in TV and movies. Kelly has spoken candidly about how working in a hospital before fame helped keep her grounded, while also giving her a backup plan should a career in Hollywood not work out. Things have more than worked out for the L.A. native, the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and dancer Maureen Kelly. Raised by her mom, Minka spent much of her childhood in New Mexico, which she details in her 2023 memoir Tell Me Everything. While Kelly rose to fame for her dramatic turn in Friday Night Lights, her upcoming Netflix film Champagne Problems is an original romantic comedy in which she plays an executive who travels to France and finds romance. Champagne Problems is scheduled for release on November 12.
