Information Technology and Digital Services Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan launched Simbli, an Indian-built AI innovation platform designed to empower businesses and professionals with intelligent automation, at an event hosted by DotCom Infoway Limited in Madurai. According to a press release issued here on Monday, Simbli serves as a unified platform for deploying and managing multiple specialised AI agents built to simplify everyday business operations. At the event, Alfred, Simbli’s social media content creation and scheduling agent, was unveiled as the platform’s first active agent. Alfred helps individuals and marketing teams create, plan, and schedule engaging, on-brand social media content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X - all within minutes. In his addressed, Mr Thiaga Rajan said that he was excited to see such innovative technology products emerging from Madurai, reflecting the growing strength of Tamil Nadu’s digital ecosystem. It’s always inspiring to see products like Simbli being conceptualised and developed right here in Madurai.” Venkatesh CR, co-founder of Simbli, said that it is more than a single product - it’s a foundation for AI collaboration. Each agent, starting with Alfred, is designed to solve real business challenges through automation, efficiency, and intelligence. The launch featured a live demonstration of Alfred in action, an interactive ‘Create with Alfred’ booth, and a spotlight discussion on ‘India’s Next Leap: Responsible AI for Everyday Creativity,’ the release added.
