Mindy Kaling’s upcoming Hulu comedy show “Not Suitable for Work” has added a dozen actors to its cast in recurring guest star roles. Variety has learned that the following people have joined the show: Victor Garber (“Alias,” “Titanic”), Greg Germann (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “57 Seconds”), Judy Gold (“Better Things,” “City On A Hill”), Ego Nwodim (“Saturday Night Live,” “Miracle Workers”), Harry Richardson (“The Gilded Age,” “Doctor Thorne”), Constance Wu (“Fresh Off the Boat,” “Crazy Rich Asians”), Laura Bell Bundy (“Call Me Kat,” “Scream Queens”), Stella Everett (“Running Point”), May Hong (“KPop Demon Hunters,” “Full Circle”), Bhavesh Patel (“FBI: Most Wanted,” “Chicago PD”), Emilia Suárez (“Dexter: Resurrection,” “Up Here”), and Michael Benjamin Washington (“Godfather of Harlem,” “American Auto”). Jay Ellis has also been cast in the series, which is said to follow “five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.” Kaling created “Not Suitable for Work” and executive produces with showrunner Charlie Grandy. 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein also executive produces. Laura Bell Bundy has been cast as A.J.’s mom, Amy Pascarelli. Stella Everett has been cast as Vivian, Josh’s girlfriend who takes pride in her work as a social worker. May Hong has been cast as Jocelyn, an associate at the NY investment bank Fisher Stassen. Bhavesh Patel has been cast as Dileep, a VP at the NY investment bank Fisher Stassen. Emilia Suárez has been cast as Elena, a smart and capable intern at The Wes Dryden Show. Michael Benjamin Washington has been cast as a landlord and (aspiring) dancer, Antoine.
