Millie Bobby Brown named one of her Stranger Things costars as the godparent to her newborn daughter. “Sadie [Sink is] very maternal, but Noah [Schnapp is] her godfather,” Brown, 21, told Entertainment Tonight at the show’s Thursday, November 6, season premiere, where she was asked about her costars’ babysitting abilities. “I trust all of them, to be honest,” she continued. “They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves when their baby voice comes out when they’re around her. It’s amazing.” Brown, who has starred as Eleven on Stranger Things since she was 10 years old, welcomed her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi via adoption this summer. “They say you lose sleep, you do,” Brown quipped to ET of becoming a new mom. “There is nothing like losing sleep. I mean, it’s truly you wake up and you’re like, ‘What time is it?’ But anything she needs, I’m there for.” Brown’s maternal instincts are already apparent to her Stranger Things costars. “Honestly, it’s the greatest joy,” Schnapp, 21, told ET in a separate interview on Thursday about watching Brown as a parent. “It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent, young, silly girl and now she’s a mom. I’m just so proud of her.” Brown and Bongiovi, 23, announced their daughter’s arrival in August without sharing her name or a photo. “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” Brown said in a Wednesday, November 5, British Vogue profile of her child’s privacy. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support.” She continued, “Right now, as she’s so little. As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.” Brown and Bongiovi have since been nestled in their private baby bliss. “It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey — she’s taught us so much already,” she told the magazine. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.” According to Brown, she and Bongiovi “are 50-50” on parenting duties, which includes changing diapers. “That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life,” she gushed. “He is just the most amazing dad.” Brown and Bongiovi got married in 2024 after two years of dating, where they were always aligned about having kids at what many would consider to be a young age. “My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” the actress previously said on the “SmartLess” podcast in March. “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.” Brown added, “My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.”
