The High Energy Projectile Factory (HEPF) at Tiruchi, a unit of Munitions India Limited (MIL) under the Ministry of Defence, celebrated ‘MIL Raising Day’ on October 1 to commemorate the start of business process of Munitions India Limited.

As part of the celebrations, it organised an exhibition on September 30 for the general public showcasing its products of various anti-tank ammunitions and anti-submarine naval rockets at the factory premises.

MIL is India’s largest manufacturer and market leader of ammunition and explosives catering to the needs of the Indian armed forces and paramilitary forces with a sizeable export market share, a press release from HEPF here said.
