MIKEY SMITH: 6 unhinged Donald Trump moments as he goes on wild rant about Zohran Mamdani

It's election day in America, and Donald Trump is going to have a bad day. It's possible Republicans will lose the Governor's mansions in New Jersey and Virginia. And he's almost certainly going to get Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of his home town, New York. That said, several people I've spoken to since arriving in the US this week have suggested that having an arch enemy in New York might be exactly what he's hoping for - and all it will take is one street crime video to go viral for him to declare an emergency and invade the city. It's just a theory, but it's a fear increasingly buzzing around Washington. Meanwhile in Trumpworld Here's everything you need to know In what must be the most egregious case of election interference by a sitting President since Nixon, Donald Trump has threatened to pull federal funding from New York City if Zohran Mamdani wins tomorrow's Mayoral Election, which he is almost certainly going to. "It is highly unlikely that I will be contributing Federal Funds, other than the very minimum as required, to my beloved first home, because of the fact that, as a Communist, this once great City has ZERO chance of success, or even survival! It can only get worse with a Communist at the helm, and I don't want to send, as President, good money after bad," Trump wrote on Truth Social. He then went on to urge his supporters to vote for Andrew Cuomo over the Republican candidate, Curtis Sliwa - you know, the guy with the beret. He said: "We must also remember this - A vote for Curtis Sliwa (who looks much better without the beret!) is a vote for Mamdani. Whether you personally like Andrew Cuomo or not, you really have no choice. You must vote for him, and hope he does a fantastic job. He is capable of it, Mamdani is not!" Not done with his attempts to interfere in local elections, Trump suggested - without evidence - that voting for the Democrats standing for governor could "quadruple" people's energy prices. "You will rue the day that you voted to destroy your life," he wrote. Clearly a bit ratted. Extraordinary footage has emerged of ICE agents in Chicago kidnapping an American citizen. The agents, according to the Chicago Tribune, crashed into Dayanne Figueroa's car as they sped away from a hostile crowd of protesters. Several agents are seen emerging from the vehicle, guns drawn, and dragging Figueroa out of her car. She was on her way to get coffee. Hours later she was released without charges. Kidnapping Trump is now claiming that any polls that don't show him soaring in popularity are "fake". In reality, his polls hit a record low this week, with a measly 37% approval rating. Nevertheless, Trump ranted on Truth Social, saying: "So many Fake Polls are being shown by the Radical Left Media, all slanted heavily toward Democrats and Far Left Wingers. "In the Fair Polls, and even the Reasonable Polls, I have the Best Numbers I have ever had and, why shouldn't I?" He added: "Fake News will never change, they are evil and corrupt but, as I look around my beautiful surroundings, I say to myself, "Oh, look, I'm sitting in the Oval Office!"" The list of things House Speaker Mike Johnson hasn't seen and doesn't know anything about grows longer by the day. It seems like any time Donald Trump does something embarrassing, or corrupt or authoritarian, he hasn't seen the news that day. Which is a little odd for theoretically the second most powerful man in American politics. He was asked by a reporter about Trump's claim in the 60 Minutes interview not to know anything about the Crypto money launderer he pardoned, noting that Johnson had just days earlier attacked Joe Biden for allegedly not knowing who he was pardoning. Johnson, implausibly, said: "I don't know anything about it. I didn't see the interview" During his “60 Minutes” interview, Trump called Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer a “kamikaze,” complained about investigators searching through his wife's closet, spoke in detail about ending wars and turned the tables on interviewer Norah O'Donnell to ask about safety in Washington, D.C. None of that was seen by people who watched the CBS broadcast on Sunday night. Less than half of O'Donnell's interview, conducted Friday, actually made it onto the air. CBS posted a transcript and video of a longer version of the 73-minute discussion online. But even the extended cut of the interview was missing one section on corruption - where Trump threatened to walk out... Here's the transcript of that segment: NORAH O'DONNELL: OK. Allowing U.S. terrorist groups to, you know, essentially move millions of dollars around. He pled guilty to anti-money laundering laws. That was in 2023. Then in 2025 his crypto exchange, Binance, helped facilitate a $2 billion purchase of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin. And then you pardoned C.Z. How do you address the appearance of pay for play? PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, here's the thing, I know nothing about it because I'm too busy doing the other -- NORAH O'DONNELL: But he got a pardon- TRUMP: I can only tell you that- O'DONNELL: He got a pardon- TRUMP: Norah, I can only tell you this. My sons are into it. I'm glad they are, because it's probably a great industry, crypto. I think it's good. You know, they're running a business, they're not in government. And they're good -- my one son is a No. 1 bestseller now. O'DONNELL: So not concerned about the appearance of corruption with this? TRUMP: I can't say, because -- I can't say -- I'm not concerned. I don't -- I'd rather not have you ask the question. But I let you ask it. You just came to me and you said, "Can I ask another question?" And I said, yeah. This is the question. O'DONNELL: And you answered- TRUMP: I don't mind. Did I let you do it? I coulda walked away. I didn't have to answer this question. I'm proud to answer the question. You know why? We've taken crypto- O'DONNELL: But just generally speak- TRUMP: Excuse me. We're No. 1 in crypto in the whole world. Other people wanna be. They're fighting like hell to be. But we're No. 1 in crypto because I'm the president. Biden wanted to also, at the very end, you know, he totally switched his thing.
