Microsoft’s (MSFT) Q1 2026 earnings report kicked off the company’s new fiscal year with various data points relating to every aspect of its business. This included the gaming division, which falls under the Xbox brand. In Q1 2026, Xbox saw its content and services revenue grow by one percent in year-over-year comparisons. Microsoft shared the latest Xbox data point in its Q1 2026 earnings report. “Xbox content and services revenue increased 1% (relatively unchanged in constant currency).” It’s a pretty minimal year-over-year improvement, though last year’s numbers were bolstered by the newly-acquired assets from the Activision Blizzard purchase. It’s a rare insight into Xbox's financial performance, as Microsoft doesn’t disclose hardware or software sales for any of its gaming products. Even the revenue from Xbox content and services remains a mystery. Xbox’s figure was just a small piece of a much larger earnings report, which showed a beat on revenue and EPS for the quarter.
