Michigan Wild Honey: Great Lakes Bee Company launches new products

FREMONT, MI —Great Lakes Bee Company, based in Newaygo County, has launched two new products: Michigan Wild Honey and SayLa Bee Infused honey.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new Michigan Wild Honey and SayLa Bee Infused honey lines that are sourced and hand bottled right here in Michigan,” said company owner and beekeeper Genji Leclair. “The summer harvest of our Michigan Wild Honey captures the diverse flavors of area wildflowers, flowering trees, clover, lavender and thistle all blended into a lovely natural mix of medium-amber Michigan deliciousness.”
Great Lakes Bee Company is headquartered in Fremont, a small city about 45 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.” The company sells honey under its Hasselman’s Honey brand name, which is available at Meijer, Whole Foods and other retailers.
The company also sells candles and beeswax.
SayLa Bee Infused honey, available in 6 ounce and 12 ounce jars, comes in a variety of flavors, including apricot, blueberry, bourbon, chai, cherry, chocolate, cinnamon, ginger, habanero, lavender, lemon, orange, peach, rose and strawberry, a release states.
