Michigan Congresswoman drafts articles of impeachment against RFK, Jr.

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – A Michigan Congresswoman has begun drafting articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., saying he violated his oath of office and created “health care chaos”.
Michigan Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) says the HHS Secretary is “unfit” to serve the American people.
Stevens made the announcement Thursday morning, posting on “X”: “Health care chaos. Reckless cuts. Rising costs. Michiganders and families across the country are paying the price for RFK Jr.’s agenda.”
Stevens is the ranking member of the House Research and Technology Subcommittee.
Her articles of impeachment will include four areas of focus: Kennedy’s abdication of duty by cutting research funding, his efforts to restrict access to vaccines and spread what stevens calls “absurd conspiracies”, lying in his confirmation hearing after promising not to change the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, and failing to carry out his duties to the FDA and CDC.
This follows months of federal health policies and recommendations that have raised eyebrows among the medical community, including alterations to the recommended childhood vaccine schedule and a recent announcement by President Donald Trump linking Tylenol use by pregnant mothers with autism.
All have been part of Kennedy’s campaign to “Make America Healthy Again” that aims to address chronic illnesses and childhood health.
It’s not clear when exactly Stevens’ articles of impeachment will officially be introduced, and it’s unlikely the GOP-majority House will go along with the impeachment.
