Michael Kim is gearing up to play in the mixed-field Grant Thornton Invitational. He will be joining Rose Zhang to compete in the team event.On Wednesday, he shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account expressing his excitement for the event. He reflected on teaming up with Zhang and talked about her swing. He wrote:"Super excited to tee it up with Rose at the @gtinvitational! Sometimes a Cal Bear and a Stanford Tree can get along! It will take place from Dec. 12 to 14 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida.In addition to Michael Kim, other PGA stars playing in the event are Jason Day, Tony Finau, Luke Clanton, Neal Shipley, Andrew Novak, Wyndham Clark, and Keith Mitchell. Kim is looking forward to playing in the event after his last outing at the DP World India Championship.Michael Kim reflects on his experience of playing in IndiaMichael Kim traveled to India earlier this month to play at the DP World India Championship. The tournament was held from Oct.16 to 19, where he delivered an amazing performance.He started the campaign with an opening round of 68, followed by another round of 68. He carded a third-round 69 and a final-round 67 to settle in a tie for ninth place.Following the event, Kim opened up about his experience of playing in the tournament. He shared a long post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Oct. 19, sharing his “thoughts from DP World India.” He wrote:"Thoughts from DP World India: -I had a little trepidation before coming to India but I honestly had a great time this week. The golf course was super unique, but played into my strengths and everyone treated us great. I can’t thank DP World enough for inviting me and hosting an awesome tournament."Special shoutout to the Oberoi hotel. Easily top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed, mainly because of the staff. There’s a higher staff to guest ratio than anywhere I’ve been and every one of them treats you like a king. -Food was great. I never had the Delhi belly and there was lots of spice in the food which I loved," he added.Michael S. He won the FedEx Open de France and also had some notable finishes on the PGA Tour. He was tied for second at the WM Phoenix Open, T6 at the Cognizant Classic, and solo fourth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He finished solo tenth at the BMW Championship.
