With an objective of fostering digital literacy and future-ready skills among students, Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (MGRDPR) University in Gadag has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infosys.
The MoU was signed under Infosys ESG Vision 2030 initiative in Gadag on Wednesday in the presence of Vice-Chancelor of MGRDPR University Suresh V. Nadagouda and Associate Vice-President and Head of Government Partnerships Division, Infosys, Santhosh Ananthapura.
The collaboration marks a milestone in integrating technology with rural higher education for sustainable and skill-oriented growth, a release from the university said.
Prof. Nadagouda said that such collaborations will empower rural students with technological and digital skills essential for global competitiveness.
Mr. Ananthapura highlighted the company’s commitment to inclusive education.
Infosys Springboard will help in bridging the gap between academia and industry by making quality learning resources accessible to all, he added.
Assistant Director of Research and Exploration of MGRDPR University Girish Dixit and others were present.
