Mental health care goes digital with new therapy platform

Following the global observance of World Mental Health Day and continuing the commitment to mental well-being, renowned clinical psychologist Kanika Jindal announced the launch of Harmony Therapy World, a holistic digital platform designed to bring emotional healing and psychological support to people everywhere, privately, compassionately, and without barriers. The platform provides direct access to licensed mental health professionals. The solutions create a safe, stigma-free space where users can seek support and nurture their emotional well-being at their own pace. “Every year, one in eight people around the world experience a mental health challenge, yet most never receive the care they deserve,” said Kanika Jindal at the launch. “These numbers are not just statistics; they represent stories, struggles, and hopes. Harmony Therapy World was created to ensure that help is always within reach, accessible, private, and deeply human.” Jindal brings a wealth of global experience, having worked across more than 100 nationalities has shaped her belief in therapy that blends science with empathy and cultural understanding. She has also served as Company Clinical Psychologist at Qatar Airways and Head of Psychology at the Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with empathy, mindfulness, compassion, and respect for individual experiences with deep cultural understanding. The Harmony Therapy World team includes distinguished mental health professionals: Dr Fatima Janjua: Paediatric Neurodisability Expert with 30+ years of experience. Dr Sandeep Govil: Psychiatrist known for his patient-centred and community-focused care with 25+ years’ experience. Dr R.K. Srivastava: Senior Psychiatrist and researcher in clinical mental health care with 25+ years’ experience. Dr Ashima Srivastava: Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with 25+ years’ experience. Dr Asiya Niyaz: Specialises in trauma counselling, guided by a psychodynamic therapeutic framework. Supported by clinical psychologists Dr Avani Ratan, Naseem Ahmed, and Tanya Mathur, Snehanky Chattopadhyay, who bring hands-on expertise in trauma, counselling, and community outreach. Together, this compassionate team unites science and humanity to deliver personalised, holistic mental health care for individuals and families. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), mental health disorders contribute nearly 15 per cent of the global health burden, and depression and anxiety cost the world economy over USD 1 trillion annually in lost productivity. Through Harmony Therapy World, Jindal envisions using technology to close this care gap, connecting help with hope. Healing with Harmony begins the moment we choose to reach out and connect.”
