The Indian entertainment industry is in mourning after the passing of veteran actor Satish Shah at the age of 74 due to kidney-related issues. His death comes as a profound shock, following the recent demise of comic legend Asrani and advertising guru Piyush Pandey. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit expressed his grief, stating, 'I'm at the hospital and he's lying in front of us. We came from Upanishad and this boy called me up and said, "Satish is no more."'. Known for his impeccable comic timing, Shah left an indelible mark with iconic roles such as Indravadan Sarabhai in 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' and in films like 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro'.
