The powerful pair seemed thrilled with each other’s company when they teamed up to meet members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program in Frogmore Gardens.

The BBC reported that Princess Catherine had organised a special packed lunch with honey sandwiches from her Norfolk home for the 20 scouts, aged four and five.

Elsewhere in the Trumps’ royal visit, one moment from the Trump / royal meeting went viral on social media due to Melania’s choice of outfit.

She’d joined her husband US President Donald Trump, King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle to view items on display at the Royal Collection exhibition.

But Melania pulled focus in striking photos from the encounter – wearing dark colours, head bowed under her oversized hat, she appeared almost invisible compared to her husband and the royals.

The photos were shared widely on social media, with commenters wondering why the First Lady was going incognito.

“Melania looks like a coat and a hat rack … the funniest picture ever,” one person commented.

“Has Melania joined witness protection?” asked another.

“Someone needs to put a new light bulb in Melania,” read another popular tweet.

The Trumps have now arrived back in the US after this, the President’s second state visit to the UK.

The visit appears to have been a success on both sides, with a source claiming King Charles found Trump “easy to deal with” and the US President publicly praising Charles as “a great gentleman and a great King.”
