Medina City Schools seeks Hall of Fame nominations for 2025

MEDINA, Ohio – The Medina City Schools’ Hall of Fame Committee is looking to honor the best and brightest among Medina alumni and community members who have made significant contributions to their community and chosen field.
The committee is seeking nominations for the Medina City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2025 through Nov. 3.
“The committee meets each fall to choose five individuals to be inducted into the Medina City Schools Hall of Fame, but hosts an induction celebration every other year,” said Amy Busby, community relations director for Medina City Schools. “The next Hall of Fame will be in the spring of 2027.”
While the Hall of Fame recognizes alumni for their contributions, it also recognizes non-graduates who have served as positive role models for Medina City School students and have significantly promoted and supported the district.
There are five categories in which individuals can be nominated: Academic/Career/Life Accomplishments, Athletic Accomplishments, Cultural/Performing Arts, Special Honorary Achievement and Major Contributions to the Medina City Schools.
Anyone who would like to make a nomination can complete the form located on the Medina City Schools website at www.medinabees.org. Hard copies of the form are also available at the Medina City Schools Board of Education Office at 739 Weymouth Road.
“Historically, the committee works to select one nominee in each category,” Busby said. “This is dependent on receiving viable nominations in each of the five categories.”
