A week out of the year is designated National Radiologic Technology Week, from Nov. 2 to 8, culminating in this year's 130th anniversary of the discovery of x-ray that revolutionized medicine. On Guam, MDX Imaging Center is helping to celebrate the occasion by honoring the vital contributions of radiologic technologists who play a crucial role in patient care and medical imaging. National Radiologic Technology Week commemorates the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on Nov. 8, 1895. MDX Imaging Center, alongside other imaging providers on Guam, will showcase the advancements in imaging technology and highlight the dedication of skilled technologists this week. In a media release, MDX Imaging Center said it will be hosting special events to raise awareness about the importance of radiologic technology in health care. "We are thrilled to celebrate this special week with our dedicated team and our community. It’s a great opportunity to recognize the hard work and expertise of radiologic technologists and to educate the public on how essential these services are," April Mills, director of MDX Imaging Center, said in a statement.
