In the late 19th/early 20th centuries, English cricket was almost entirely governed by the MCC, which also used to select members to tour other countries. This tour of Zimbabwe marks the first time in the modern era that the MCC has travelled to the country. They will play seven matches across formats, with a squad led by Glamorgan’s Will Smale.
