Matthew Stafford's ridiculous season, Bills' huge win

The Post’s Dylan Svoboda takes a look at this week’s betting trends and storylines. A new Super Bowl favorite The Bills are the new class of the NFL, according to DraftKings Sportsbook oddsmakers. After beating the Chiefs 28-21 on Sunday, Buffalo took over for Kansas City as the Super Bowl favorites, sitting at +600 heading into Week 10. The Chiefs aren’t far behind with +650 odds. Perhaps the biggest jump of the week came from the Rams, who are now +800, the third-best odds in the league, after throttling the Saints in Los Angeles to improve to 6-2. Bengals bungle a sure win Cincinnati delivered the bad beat of the week on Sunday. Those betting on the Bengals over the Bears looked to be dead in the water late in the fourth quarter before scoring two touchdowns in less than a minute thanks to an onside kick recovery. With 54 seconds left in the game, the 2.5-point underdog Bengals led 42-41, seemingly securing the cover and win. Nope. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams would connect with rookie tight end Colston Loveland on a 58-yard touchdown to get the win, devastating those who put their money behind Cincy. A darkhorse MVP candidate As we’ve mentioned here before, Josh Allen, Drake Maye, and Patrick Mahomes round out the top three NFL MVP candidates, but there’s a new entrant to the race after Week 9. The Rams’ Matthew Stafford is now +550 to win the award at FanDuel Sportsbook after Los Angeles’ dominant win over the Saints. Stafford threw for four more touchdowns, giving him a league-leading 21 on the season with just two interceptions. Betting on the NFL? With 13 games on the docket, not a single game has a double-digit spread. As of this writing, seven of those games have a spread of 3.5 points or fewer. After a tough Week 9 for those survivor contest players still alive, it’s not getting any easier in Week 10.
