EXCLUSIVE: Matthew Del Negro (City on a Hill), Nick Stahl (Let the Right One In), and Kevin Interdonato (The Bastard Sons) lead the cast of the true-crime biopic, Lupo, helmed by City on a Hill actress Amanda Clayton. The film is based on the true story of Joseph ‘Lupo’ Rulli (Interdonato), a legendary New Jersey boxer plagued with polio before his career peaks, who then rises as a mobster in the Bonanno Crime family, while his older brother Dennis (Stahl) becomes a decorated State Policeman in the same town. Alongside directing, Clayton will also star in the film. The cast is rounded out by Ronnie Gene Blevins (Emancipation) and Jeremy Luke (Mob Cops). Dan Robertson, Clayton, and Interdonato produce under their Take No Prisoners Productions banner. The screenplay was written by Clayton and Sean Villa. Del Negro is best known for his roles in The Sopranos, City on a Hill, The West Wing, Goliath, and Scandal. Stahl’s credits include Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Sin City, and Bully. Interdonato recently wrapped as writer-director-star on Dirty Hands, following the theatrical release of the crime-drama The Bastard Sons by Vertical Entertainment. Clayton’s acting credits include Showtime’s City on a Hill and Oprah Winfrey Network’s If Loving You Is Wrong.
