Masters announces it will expand TV coverage to Amazon

Amazon has been expanding its coverage of major sports for the last several years, and they have now secured media rights to the biggest golf tournament of the year.

On Tuesday, Amazon Prime and the Masters announced that the streaming giant will carry live tournament coverage beginning in 2026. The Masters will stream live on Prime Video from 1 p.m. EST through 3 p.m. EST on Thursday and Friday, which are the first two rounds of the tournament.

In past years, live TV coverage of tournament play began at 3 p.m. EST on ESPN for the first and second rounds. ESPN’s coverage will still begin at the same time, with Amazon carrying an additional two hours before that each day.

CBS will exclusively carry the third and final rounds on Saturday and Sunday, with coverage beginning at 2 p.m. EST each day as it always has.
