The Indian women’s team were dealt an injury scare right before the crucial ICC World Cup semi-final as Pratika Rawal limped off the field after twisting her right ankle badly, on Sunday. The opening batter suffered the bizarre injury while attempting to stop the ball, which was racing towards the mid-wicket boundary. The incident unfolded in the 21st over when Sharmin Akhter swiped Deepti Sharma’s delivery across the line. Pratika ran across the midwicket boundary but overran the ball as it plugged on the outfield. As she tried turning back, her right boot got stuck on the turf, twisting her ankle as she fell in pain. All is well, Pratika Rawal is not injured, return soon. pic.twitter.com/kKxgge4sFJ — Sahil Singhadiya (@SahilSinghadiya) October 26, 2025 ?Injury concern for Team India! ?
