STUDENT PHOTOJOURNALISM PROGRAM
Student photographers set example covering high school sports in Massachusetts
One of the many wonderful things about the Globe’s unique high school sports photojournalism program — besides the fact that it’s free to join — is that any student from any high school in the state can participate. They can cover any sport, capture any game or athlete or scene, for a worldwide audience to see.
Somerset Berkley’s Calder Troutman is a perfect example. This week’s gallery down below features six of his shots: action and artistic; some of his school, some of Fairhaven; some of the varsity, and some of the JV. All pretty cool.
If you are a student photographer and would like the world to see your wonderful sports pictures, please start by signing up here. And if you have questions, please send them along to John Vitti at john.vitti@globe.com.
