SIOUX CITY — Get ready to step into a world of magic and music as the Sioux City Community Theatre’s Youth Program presents Disney’s and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins Jr.,” a stage adaptation of the beloved classic, Thursday – Sunday, at 1401 Riverside Blvd.
Based on the iconic Disney movie and the Broadway musical, “Mary Poppins Jr.” brings together the Banks family, their mysterious and magical nanny as well as a host of colorful characters in a show featuring beloved tunes like “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
“‘Mary Poppins Jr.’ is a perfect showcase of young talent and timeless storytelling,” Angela Iversen, the production’s director, said.

The cast includes Eliana Iversen as Mary Poppins; Dane Henneman as Bert; Alvara Galindo as George Banks; Elizabeth Sereda as Winifred Banks; and Elena Nguyen and Emmett Rohlena as Jane and Michael Banks.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday.
