The extension runs through the 2033-34 NHL season and also features significant signing-bonus structure and a full no-movement clause for the first seven years.Necas arrived in Colorado in January as part of a major three-team trade involving Carolina and Chicago and is already a key offensive fixture for the Avalanche. He gave credit to the special core group in Colorado and said winning was a key motivator in committing long-term.“I think it's great. And not just him and Cale, but the core group here is amazing. And you know, I've been on a great team in Carolina, and being here seeing how good the guys are here and how special this group is, that was a big part why I signed here.
