James Bond, naturally — sleek, sophisticated, and dripping with luxury. But before joining the festivities, one notable guest made headlines for her down-to-earth moment outside the party. As Martha Stewart rolled up to the event, she leaned out of her car window to sign autographs as the paparazzi captured the candid moment. It’s unclear what exactly she was signing, but one image shows the lifestyle icon scribbling her name across a Priority Mail envelope as she approached the estate of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, where the party was held. Stewart’s attendance at Jenner’s birthday wasn’t much of a surprise. The two have developed a friendly relationship over the years, bonding through their shared love of entertaining and fine living. Jenner has called Stewart an “icon,” and Stewart has praised the momager’s business savvy and impeccable hosting skills. The pair even filmed social media content together in the past, where their mutual admiration was on full display. While the night was filled with glitz and glamour (including a surprise performance by Bruno Mars) the excitement got a little too loud for the neighbors. TMZ reported police stopped by twice, once for noise complaints and again due to privacy hedges blocking the street. Not everyone was happy about Stewart’s attendance, though. “From the Beverly Hills Hotel where we dressed to the party to the plane it was a night of fun and merriment!!!” Stewart shared on Instagram. “Happy birthday lovely @krisjenner.” “Martha, I love you more than you know,” said one commenter. “But please stop trying to make the Kardashians “normal.” Go to the events, just don’t post. It hurts your credibility.”
