Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland has died by suicide following a police chase in Frisco, Texas, according to officials. He was 24. Police Confirm Details of the Tragic Incident According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) (via The Athletic) officers attempted to stop Kneeland’s vehicle at 10:33 p.m. local time on Wednesday, but the driver refused to stop, sparking a pursuit. The chase was terminated when troopers lost sight of the car. The vehicle was later found abandoned after a crash on the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway. Initial reports from the Frisco Police Department indicated that Kneeland fled the scene of the crash on foot. He was found deceased at 1:31 a.m. from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
