A brand new series of Married At First Sight UK stars tonight – and promises to bring the drama. As a new lot of singles get ready to walk down the aisle and say ‘I do’ to a complete stranger, we looked at the couples from last year that made it to the end of the show and whether they have gone the distance. There were only two couples who decided to stay together at the final vow ceremony in 2024. Four pairs – Luke and Amy, Adam and Polly, Nathan and Lacey, and Ross and Sacha – all made it to the final, but only two said they wanted to continue their relationships. Ross and Sacha and Nathan and Lacey gave it a go in the real world. But are either still together now? Nathan Campbell and Lacey Martin were one of the series most popular couples, despite an initial blunder on their wedding day. Nathan, overwhelmed by the experiment, mistook Lacey’s twin sister, Paige, for his bride. It led to a very uncomfortable atmosphere with Lacey’s family and a subsequent confrontation when Lacey’s friends informed her. But they won viewers over as they grew close during the show. They declared their love for each other during the final vows, but quietly parted ways shortly after filming ended. Nathan is now dating former Love Island star Abi Moores, often sharing loved-up pics on social media. After their break up was announced, Lacey accused Nathan of “faking” the romance for the cameras. She claimed he had repeatedly said throughout the experiement that he wanted ‘to be the nice guy’ and questioned why he cared about how he looked. She added: “He just cared about his image and how he looked and how he would come across rather than what’s right.” However, Nathan hit back and claimed Lacey was putting in no effort to see him outside of the experiment, before accusing Lacey of wanting to stay together for ‘magazine deals’. He said: “I’d always have to go there, she wouldn’t come to see me – those kind of arguments. “I’m not too sure, things were quite different after the show. When you’re together, you’re 100 per cent in the same place. But after the experiment there was a big distance there.” Ross and Sacha are sadly no longer an item despite their relationship seeming to grow stronger after the end of Married At First Sight. Their love story on the show won over viewers as Sacha said Ross made her feel “safe” and no man had made her feel so at ease before. Ross, the show’s first deaf groom, moved from Manchester to the West Midlands to be with Sacha after the series ended. But their relationship ultimately came to an end after the show wrapped up. Sacha claimed he ended their relationship with a brutal five-word text. Despite turning up to the reunion show still very much together and revealing Ross had moved in with Sacha in Walsall , the beauty pageant winner told Ross to leave her family home. She claimed they had split because of Ross’s ‘anger issues’. Reflecting on the aftermath of the show with OK! , Sacha shared: “When I think of my time with Ross after the show, it’s just dark. Dark. “I can’t think of one happy memory after the show. It was awful. “The last happy memory I have is going to the first reunion together and putting on a strong front.” Sacha said Ross had broken it off in a brutal text message after she confronted him about ‘anger issues’. Sacha revealed it read: “We’re done, I’m ending it. Don’t text me again please, take care.” Ross has not commented on their split but has hard launched his new partner on his Instagram confirming he has moved on.
