Before viewers get acquainted with the new participants both individually and as couples, one bride’s connection to another reality show has been disclosed. Maeve Mathieson is one of the brides preparing to tie the knot in the upcoming season. While her groom remains unknown at this point, one of her closest friends is a member of the Geordie Shore cast. The 29 year old from Newcastle has been photographed in social media posts mingling with Chloe Ferry, who rose to prominence on Geordie Shore during its tenth series in 2015. It’s reported that they jointly established their business CM House of Aesthetics back in 2019. Maeve, who works as an aesthetic practitioner, has built a name for herself as a “self-confessed trouble maker” searching for a “mature relationship”. Back in January 2023, Maeve shared her dawn swimming adventure on social media with a companion, who happened to be the future MAFS celebrity. Chloe commented at the time: ” Normally on a Saturday morning I would be waking up hungover. But not today! Me and Maeve got up at 6am and went for a dip in the North Sea.” Maeve has been happy to showcase their friendship on social media as well. In November 2022, she posted a picture of them dressed up for a party, with the caption: “Partners in crime”. When the cast for the latest series of MAFS UK was announced, Maeve enthusiastically shared the news on Instagram. She uploaded a photograph of herself wearing a wedding gown, declaring: “SURPRISE. Not gonna lie….I did a thing,” and revealed that she “only went and got MARRIED on telly”.
