The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel attached to Southern Railway’s Mangaluru Central Post on Friday handed over a left-behind luggage containing valuables worth ₹5.92 lakh to its owner. According to an official release, Sub-Inspector K. Premkumar and constable K. Pradeesh recently secured the left-behind luggage. The luggage contained cash, mobile phones, spectacles, and other items worth ₹5.92 lakh from platform 3. Its owner was identified through a call received on the recovered mobile phone. The secured items were handed over to Suresh Kumar, a relative of the owner, after due verification, the release said.
