Man Utd in 'Concrete Negotiations' to Sign Striker Kevin Filling

Manchester United are in 'concrete negotiations' to sign AIK youngster Kevin Filling in January, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg. The Red Devils had a busy summer transfer window as they splashed in excess of £220m to bring in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and goalkeeper Senne Lammens to bolster Ruben Amorim's squad. A number of players have been linked with a move to Old Trafford as the club continues to refresh their squad and bring in some of the best young talent from around the world, and now a move for Filling is being worked on. Sky Sports: Man Utd 'In Talks' for Filling After the club completed deals for the likes of Sekou Kone, Chido Obi and Diego Leon in recent times since INEOS took over football operations at Old Trafford, it has been made clear that there is an interest in securing some of the best young talent from around the globe. Man Utd have recently been completed another deal, bringing in Colombian wonderkid Cristian Orozco, who will join once he turns 18, while a deal for Mouhamed Dabo, the highly-rated Senegalese teenager, is also being worked on, GIVEMESPORT sources understand. Now though, the Reds are planning on adding another young forward to their roster of talent, with talks underway over a deal for Swedish 16-year-old Kevin Filling. Several Bundesliga clubs are also keen on a deal for the talented striker, who has scored twice in seven appearances in the Swedish top flight despite his tender age. The Swedish club are believed to value the wonderkid forward at around €3m (£2.6m), and Man Utd are in 'concrete negotiations' about a deal that could be wrapped up as early as the upcoming winter transfer window. Filling would join United as a super-young forward with big potential, after the likes of Chido - who joined from Arsenal and made his first-team debut at Old Trafford last season - and French forward Enzo Kana-Biyik, who signed from Le Havre this summer before joining INEOS-owned FC Lausanne on a season-long loan.
