Ruben Amorim could soon be facing some big Manchester United dilemmas with two suspension blows potentially on the horizon. Following a run of three successive wins over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton, United find themselves sixth in the Premier League table. All three performances have been impressive but very different, with their latest outing against the Seagulls - that ended 4-2 - showing the quality of the attacking power brought to the club this past summer. Bryan Mbeumo bagged a brace, with one of those assisted by Benjamin Sesko, after Matheus Cunha put them in front. Casemiro was United's other scorer on the night as his deflected effort flew past Bart Verbruggen with the Brazil international also picking up an assist. The previous weekend, he was superb against Premier League champions Liverpool with it clear he is benefitting from only playing once per week. Despite that, Amorim may have to soon prepare for a United game without Casemiro and not because of injury. That is because he is already on three yellow cards and picking up two more cautions before United have played their 20th game of the league season will see him serve a one-match ban. Amorim and United were likely fearing the worst for their trip to Nottingham Forest over a different suspension worry during the clash against Brighton. For Danny Welbeck's excellent free-kick that brought Brighton back into the game, Patrick Dorgu fouled Yankuba Minteh when he was breaking through on goal. The Denmark international was only shown a yellow card with it deemed Minteh's heavy touch meant it was not the denial of clear and obvious goal-scoring opportunity. Nonetheless, it was his third caution of the campaign already which places him in the same boat as Casemiro. Amorim has preferred to use Diogo Dalot at left wing-back over Dorgu when deploying Amad on the opposite flank, but he has still been booked three times. In terms of potential Casemiro replacements, both Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo can be utilised alongside Bruno Fernandes, though Amorim would certainly prefer to have Casemiro available given his impact in recent weeks. --- Here at The Manchester Evening News, we are dedicated to bringing you the best Manchester United coverage and analysis.
