In recent months, large parts of India and neighbouring countries like Pakistan have been hit by floods, causing widespread destruction to crops, land, highways, and public property. As pictures and videos of the rising waters circulate on social media, concerns about human lives have grown.
Yet, amid the chaos, some people seem to know how to turn even a flood-hit area into a business opportunity, and the idea only works best when you know your audience.
Man Sets Up Corn Stall Near Flood-Affected Area
Humans are strange that way. No matter how busy we pretend to be, we’re always drawn to the unusual, spending hours watching JCBs at work, road fights, and now, even floods. Taking advantage of this curious human fascination, a corn seller recently set up his stall near a severely flood-affected area in Pakistan, and surprisingly, it turned out to be a profitable move.
In a video shared on Instagram, the vendor is seen preparing corn on a small setup, seemingly mounted on a cycle, while onlookers enjoy the snack while watching the floodwaters.
