The injured man had shown up at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he later died. Gardaí launched an investigation. Gardaí had received reports of a disturbance at Curragh Hall Crescent, Tyrrelstown, involving a group of individuals at around 10:30pm on Saturday, 1 November. They believe the incidents are linked. On the arrival of gardaí in Tyrrelstown, those involved had dispersed. “A short time later the now deceased young man arrived at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with serious injuries,” a garda spokesperson previously said. Advertisement “The male was subsequently pronounced deceased.” A Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed to lead the investigation from the incident room at Blanchardstown Garda Station. A Family Liaison Officer has also been assigned to support the family of the deceased. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
